If you want your zombie to be a lil' more on the GORE side...JUST ADD BLOOD!!
I like to use the "Spray Blood" aerosol can. Here's info about HOW TO USE "SPRAY BLOOD": SPRAY BLOOD WEBSITE

It's great because you can use it as a splatter or a spray. It has more control when applying than just buying a "bottle of blood".
If you'd like to use some blood for your mouth-DO NOT USE THE THEATRICAL BLOOD!
To make EDIBLE BLOOD you will need the following:
Kayro/corn syrup
Chocolate syrup
Box of food coloring
travel size shampoo/toiletry bottle

Why the travel size bottle? For re-applying of course! Find these little gems at any drug store in the travel section/beauty department. Clean it with hot soap and water before you fill it with your EDIBLE BLOOD. Then when full, close the cap and keep it in your pocket for easy and quick re-application while on your zombie walk!
